Run a simple google search for online bookkeeping courses and what you are going to realize is that all of your options are pretty much the same thing. Learn bookkeeping and move on.
The first thing you will notice is a wide array of online universities that all offer you the opportunity to learn bookkeeping online. The other, if I have done my job right, would be this post.
Depending on what your goal is, you do have other options at your disposal! My hope is that this post will stick out like a sore thumb in the search engines since I am not looking to lead you to just another online university.
Depending on what you are looking for is going to determine what kind of bookkeeping course you should pursue. If you are simply looking to learn bookkeeping to work for someone else than one of the online universities should do just fine.

There are quite a few online universities to choose from so please make sure to do your research so that you are confident in your decision. Looking at the tuition costs from these online universities, the average tuition is going to run you somewhere in the ballpark of $700-800.

The second type of support that I wanted to touch on will be your go-to once you are inside the course itself. It comes in the form of a private group filled with students just like you, as well as, students that have already gone through the course and have thriving businesses of their own.
I promise you that no question will go unanswered. Let’s face it, you are going to have questions and concerns. I’m telling you that this very active private group alone is worth its weight in gold.

The course is designed to be gone through in 10 weeks. Of course, you are able to go through it though at your own pace though. Ben even claims that it is possible to have your first client before you even finish the course!
You may be thinking that there is no way, but I can tell you that I have seen it with my own eyes within the private group again and again where students actually do this! Of course, there are a lot of factors that go into this. It is simply a matter of how aggressively you jump into it.

In case you don’t know, this program is basically the brains of your bookkeeping business. It does all the number crunching for you, you just have to learn how to use it.
I should also mention, that because of this software, you do not have to be some math wizard to be a bookkeeper. What you do have to have though is that you enjoy working with numbers but that is covered more in the free training.
