Bookkeeper Launch Interview
When did you first join Bookkeeper Launch?
I joined in early 2017.
Did you have any previous bookkeeping experience before BL?
Yes. I was responsible for reconciling and creating JEs for a county here in New Mexico.
How about any previous experience running your own business?
Were you worried that Bookkeeper Business Launch was a scam when you first considered joining?
No, I didn’t. I wasn’t sure it would work, but I didn’t think it was a scam.
What was your overall impression of the training?
Comprehensive, helpful, intimidating, and interesting.
How long did it take you to go through the entire course?
A few months, I don’t remember exactly how long.
Did you find the Facebook support group to be helpful?
YES!!!! The people in the group are amazing! They’re compassionate, understanding, helpful, and well… supportive.
Do you think anyone can learn to become a bookkeeper?
No. I believe there are certain traits (which Ben talks about in the free lessons) that someone MUST have in order to be a bookkeeper. It’s not for everyone.
What do you think are the most important traits to running a successful bookkeeping business?
Organization, honesty, attention to detail, and communication.
How long did it take to land your first client?
How many clients do you have now?
Does your bookkeeping business focus on a particular niche?
I work with small businesses in the Rio Rancho and Albuquerque area. I’m not virtual.
As a whole, what is your overall impression of the Bookkeeper Launch course?
Incredible! There’s so much to learn about bookkeeping and running your own business. It can be overwhelming, but the way Ben presents everything is reassuring. He believes in us, so we believe in ourselves.
Any final thoughts or advice that you would like to offer to anyone considered joining?
Think very carefully about the commitment it takes to not only complete the course but to start and run your own business. Make sure you have a support network around you. I had my family and friends who helped me through it.

What Can You Do Now?
I know that this is just a tiny glimpse into what Bookkeeper Launch can do so what you need to do now is learn more about the program itself. Head on over to my full review of BL to get a complete rundown of this amazing program.
There you will learn absolutely everything about from the creator of the program, what’s on the inside, BBB status, student reviews, and even debunking the thought of this course possibly being a scam (don’t worry, it’s not).
From there you will have the chance to check out a series of free training videos to help you to determine if a bookkeeping business is right for you.
I also realize that a program like this may come with a lot of questions. Don’t be afraid to drop any questions below and I will be sure to get them answered as soon a possible.
