I have yet to find another course out there that is as complete as Bookkeeper Launch. If you know of one please, by all means, let me know so that I can look into it for you! But until that time comes I will continue to praise everything about this course simply because it is amazing.
I get it though, you probably still have some reservations about it and that is completely normal. After all, if you are going to spend the money you want to be 100% confident that you are going to get your moneys worth, am I right? To help give you a little peace of mind lets jump into some of the most commonly asked questions.
6 FAQ’s About Bookkeeper Launch
Do I Learn Both Bookkeeping And How To Start My Business?
The short answer is, absolutely! This is what separates BBL (Bookkeeper Business Launch) from any other program out there.
Not only are you going to learn everything about how to do bookkeeping but also how to get your business in front of potential clients. After all, what good is learning bookkeeping if you have no idea how to market?
Below I have included a quick little screenshot showing that the training includes both learning the bookkeeping skills that you will need and training on how to obtain new clients.
Ben Robinson, the founder of Bookkeeper Launch, even goes into focusing your efforts on a particular niche which makes your services in even more demand compared to being a basic bookkeeper who will do anyone’s books. He teaches you how to choose your clients, not have your clients choose you.
How Do I Decide On The Niche To Market To?
I touched on this point briefly above but now I can go into a little more detail on how this works. First of all, Ben will help you break things down to help you not only decide on a niche that really interests you, but also one that is in high demand for bookkeepers.
There are certain niches out there that are simply more receptive to paying you as a bookkeeper for the value that you will soon learn how to provide.
Do I Have To Be A Math Wizard?
This is a huge one and one that you would probably guess that, yes, you would have to be a math genius. The truth is that the real answer is no!
You do not have to be a math stud to make a great bookkeeper. There are a couple of points though when talking about math.
The first point that needs to be addressed is that you cannot FEAR MATH! The site of a bunch of numbers cannot send you screaming for the hills so if the thought of looking at small business financial statements sends shivers down your spine and makes you break out in a cold sweat then becoming a bookkeeper is probably not going to work out for you.
Assuming that numbers do not scare you, the most important point about math is that you simply need to have an eagle eye. You need to make sure that all the numbers add up. If you can do this, then you will be well on your way!
Is My Client’s Information Safe?
The short answer is yes! All the information that is collected from your clients is simply kept in the cloud.
I get that this may sound kind of iffy to some of you but, in truth, this is the safest way to do it. By keeping everything in the cloud you are able to use military-grade encryption to protect everything which is better protection that you have on your own personal computer.
Ben actually goes into overkill mood when it comes to security by providing you with security options to back up other security options as well as additional pointers on how to keep your clients’ information safe.
This is actually an excellent selling point to your potential clients once you are able to explain to them that storing their finances in the cloud is the safest way to do things. On top of that, you will have the security features to back it all up!
Are Businesses Turned Off That I Work From Home?
The truth is…NO! Most small businesses don’t care where you do your bookkeeping from. Are there going to be cases where you will run into one that doesn’t like that you run your business online from the comfort of your home? Sure, but an overwhelming majority couldn’t care less.
In fact, you are taught how to turn this into an advantage for you since your not going to simply be a number cruncher for some big corporation. Show your clients the value you can add to their business by simply caring and they will appreciate the fact that you run your own business from home.
