2022 New Years Resolutions… Home Business Reality Check!

As we come to the end of another year that can only mean one thing. It’s time to make those dreadful 2022 New Years’ resolutions once again. You know, that time of year when you stand up and declare to the world that this is going to be your year.

This is going to be the year that you lose those extra pounds and get back into shape or you’re finally going to give up that nasty smoking habit once and for all. This is going to be the year that you get out of debt and finally, start living within your means.

Then, before you know it, it’s February and you realize nothing has changed. Life once again has gotten in the way and you simply don’t have the mindset to take control of the situation and make that change.

Why are we, as people, not able to stick to anything that requires effort?  To add to that thought, even when it is a positive change we simply develop an oh well type of attitude and move on like it was never even a thought, to begin with.

Sometimes we need to take a hard look at ourselves and really figure out what we want and the steps that we need to take to get there.

You Are Holding Yourself Back

I was listening to the radio the other day and heard an advertisement that was talking about just this. I can’t remember what the advertisement was for (not really important) but they said that by February, 80% of all New Years’ resolutions made have already failed.

Why do you suppose that is? I am by no means an expert but I would think that a couple of the main reasons would be fear and poor planning. If you truly want to make a change in your life, no matter what that change may be, it needs to be plotted out and planned for.

Simply stating that you are going to do something to change your life is nothing more than words. That is until you sit down to come up with a game plan to actually make that change happen.

I think that most of us can agree that we all hate change. It’s uncomfortable, it’s scary, it’s fear of the unknown. Even though making that change in your life may be the best thing for you, we, as humans, hate it.

We are scared that we are going to fail. We are scared of what others will say about us. We are all together scared of the unknown and what may or may not happen by making that change.

We tend to focus on why we CAN NOT do something instead of why we CAN do something. I suppose it’s easier to come up with excuses to not do something instead of coming up with reasons why we SHOULD do something.

After all, by doing just that, we avoid the disappointment, the frustration, and whatever challenges may come your way by making that change in your life.

You choose to stay in your safe zone to avoid being hurt even though you know making that change would be the best thing for you.

Ask Yourself… Why Are You Here Right Now?

I suppose it’s entirely possible that you have landed on this post out of pure luck and have zero interest in starting your own bookkeeping business. In saying that, chances are, that simply isn’t the case.

You are here because the thought of learning how to be a bookkeeper and running your own business from home intrigues you. The thought of being your own boss gets you excited but maybe your not sure if you should pull the trigger or you’re scared of being scammed or maybe you’re thinking that you can’t afford the course.

While all of these are legit concerns, are you doing anything to overcome them? Are you doing anything to find the answers to the questions that you have? Allow me to break these down a bit to see if maybe I can help you out.

Starting your own business can be super scary and this is a legit concern to have. I’ll even go as far as to say that not everyone can, or should, run their own bookkeeping business. How do you figure out if a bookkeeping business is right for you?

If you are the least bit familiar with this site then you have probably run into an article or 20 about how you can sign up for 3 FREE training videos to help you figure out if having your own bookkeeping business is a good fit for you. Find out the traits that make for an excellent bookkeeper, as well as, costs associated with running your business.

If you’re not sure if this is for you and have not signed up for the free training to see if it is for you then you have no one to blame but yourself. There is no catch here, no credit card required, little green men are not going to show up at your house and take you away for wanting to learn more about running your own business.

Quit getting in your own way! You are here because you are curious. So start getting the answers to some of your questions, do yourself a favor and check out the FREE training.

Are you maybe worried about getting scammed? This is also a legit concern this can be tackled quickly a couple of different ways. You can check out other posts throughout this site, most of which deal with Bookkeeper Launch. You can also check out the BBB page as well.

It is also quite possible that you feel that you can’t afford the course. This is also a very legit concern. But, what can you do to change that? If you know that this is something that you want, then you need to come up with a way to make it happen.

I know that the Bookkeeper Launch course is not cheap, I completely get that! What I can say though is that compared with starting up just about ANY other business, you’re talking pennies on the dollar. This can also be further explained to you in the FREE training videos.

Maybe it’s picking up a second job or working some overtime. Maybe it’s cutting back on other things. Everybody’s financial situation is different but what I can tell you is that if you really want this… you can afford it, you just have to sit down and figure out how.

I Have Been There

I feel like this post was necessary to write because I went through the same emotions and feelings you may be feeling right now when I decided to tackle the world of affiliate marketing.

I first ran into the idea of marketing other people’s products 5 years ago but it took me 4 years to finally pull the trigger. Why did it take me that long to finally do it? Because I was telling myself that I couldn’t make it work, that there has got to be a faster and easier way.

I told myself that other people would be waiting for me to fail so that they can tell me “I told you so!” and I didn’t want to give them the satisfaction of seeing me give up on my dream of creating a better life for myself. I was scared to put in the work and I would have zero results to show for that work.

Creating content for others to read has developed into something that I love to do. To have the opportunity to show people that there is a better way is so rewarding in many ways.

My only regret is that I didn’t take that leap the first time I ran into it. That it took me 4 years to finally pull the trigger. It took me 4 years to push aside the negative thoughts that were racing through my head before I finally told myself that I could actually do this.

It Simply Comes Down To Taking Action

I hesitate to write this post because I feel that it’s kind of forceful or pushy in terms of signing up for the Bookkeeper Launch training. That is not my goal or purpose. When it comes right down to it, you are going to do what you are going to do.

What I am attempting to drive home is… why are you not doing the things that need to be done to make a massive change in your life if you are looking to do just that? And this goes for anything in life, not just the Bookkeeper Launch course.

Resolutions are hard. Making a change in your life is hard. But it can be the best decision you’ll ever make if you simply take action to make it happen for you. Don’t cheat yourself out of a chance to provide a better life for yourself and your family.

Whatever your goals may be, make 2022 the year you decide to take action and start building towards the life that you deserve.

Thanks for allowing me to give you a swift kick in the pants on why you haven’t taken action yet. A new year can mean a new life for you. Whether that means deciding to jump into the Bookkeeper Launch course or finally losing those unwanted pounds.

Just know that whatever it is you want out of life, reach out and take it! Push the fear and negativity aside, make a plan and go after it!

I wish you all the best in whatever you decide and if I could ask for one favor from you? I am curious as to your thoughts about this post whether it be positive or negative (I am a big boy I can handle it).

Do you have a similar experience that you would like to share? What is your motivation for doing what you do, whatever that may be? Do you have questions or concerns about Bookkeeper Launch? I look forward to your responses and I will be sure to respond to them all ASAP.

If you have yet to check out my full review of the course, then this may be the first step in making your New Years resolution a reality.  Start getting your questions answered and check it out now.
